  • Co-Founder & Co-President

Demilade Awosika-Olumo is the Co-Founder and Co-President of herScript, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the representation of Black women in tech. She founded herScript to address the lack of support, mentorship, and representation for Black women pursuing careers in technology. Under her leadership, herScript has expanded to multiple chapters, hosted impactful events, and fostered a growing network of Black women in technology.

With a background in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and a passion for bridging tech, business, and healthcare, she leads initiatives that provide mentorship, career development, and community-building opportunities.

  • Co-Founder & Co-President

Maame Abena Boateng is a technologist passionate about interdisciplinary innovation and social impact. With early experience in robotics, computer science, engineering, and healthcare, she saw how diverse perspectives shape technology. This inspired her to found herScript, a growing community where Black women in tech define their own paths rather than conforming to a one-size-fits-all model. Under her leadership, herScript has expanded across multiple chapters, hosted impactful events, and fostered a strong network through professional development, mentorship, corporate partnerships, nonprofit management, fundraising, and exposure opportunities.

Earning a B.S. in Public Health with a concentration in Biostatistics, Informatics, and Applied Statistics at UT Austin, she explores AI, human-centered design, and ethical innovation—demonstrating that technology is most powerful when it embraces multiple disciplines and diverse backgrounds.
